    • Founded Janel in 1975 in New York City as a specialized import customs brokerage house and transportation company
    • Over 40 years experience in the industry in all facets of freight forwarding and customs brokerage, adapting with the changing landscape of customs and technology over that span
    • Grew Janel from a 5 person startup to a global company which was taken public under symbol JLWT in 2002

  • William Lally, President
    • One of the original employees of the company, moved to Chicago in 1978 to establish a base in Chicago representing the Midwest and giving Janel a true national presence.
    • Has extensive experience in dealing in complex project moves, including private charters and planning for major companies including Gerber, Hassia Packaging, and IWKA machine systems
    • Responsibilities include oversight of strategy for sales and marketing of entire organization.
  • Paul McCreary, President, Environmental Projects Division
    • 32 years of supply chain design and implementation experience
    • Designed and implemented supply chain solutions for John Deere, Caterpillar, GE Appliance, Ingersoll Rand, Meritor, Club Car, BMW and Chrysler
  • Brian Malec, CTO Janel Group; EVP, Order Logistics Division
    • 15 years experience in developing technology solutions for the transportation, logistics, health care, insurance, and brokerage markets.
    • Designed technology solutions for accounts such as Commonwealth Edison, Panasonic and Prudential
    • In 1996 Malec lead the development of the Panasonic POS solution which is used by McDonalds, Outback Steak House, and installed on over 100,000 units
  • Noel Jannello, VP
    • Initially employed by Janel in 1994, and has been a Vice President and JFK operations executive since 2003.
    • His principal function is the overseeing of the company’s U.S. operations and integration of sales and marketing into operations support.
    • Graduate of Bradley University (B.A. Advertising & Marketing, 1993)
  • Vincent Iacopella, Managing Director, The Janel Group of Los Angeles
    • Has been with Janel since 1992 working in the Los Angeles market and representing the Western Region of the US; is licensed customs broker
    • Was key proponent in re-structuring of the Los Angeles operation and turning into a profitable center providing all 3PL services
    • Effective January 1 2008, Secretary of The Pacific Coast Council of Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Assns. Inc

  • Philip Castagna, President, The Janel Group of Georgia
    • Established The Janel Group of Georgia in 1994, giving Janel coverage in all major regions of the US.
